To interpret an organization's actual cost-per-hire, one must consider the amount of time, effort and finances to successfully fill a position.


When working to fill an open position, you are in that stressful situation of sorting through what seems like endless resumes to find that "right" person. At the same time, you’re balancing a multitude of additional important responsibilities.

We know firsthand how time-consuming, often frustrating, and expensive the recruiting, screening, interviewing, and selecting can be to bring on a new employee. That’s why we know you would appreciate our service—we accomplish that process for you.

Our main focus and objective is to economically streamline the hiring process and “Fit" the person with the right personality, attitude and work ethic in the right organization’s culture. It must be a “Fit” and a Win-Win for the benefit of both parties. 

To start the process, a representative from The Professional Edge will spend time learning about the employer’s work environment--meeting in person or via telephone with the client to determine the qualifications, experience and education required for the open position. We then observe and/or conduct brief conversations to determine the employer’s culture. After that, we research our databases, post the position on over 50 employment websites in addition to various association websites and our own private network to find a qualified candidate that has the right qualifications and experience, the right personality and the right work ethic to fit into the employer’s organization.


The Professional Edge candidates are high caliber, experienced, and qualified professionals. All candidates complete applications, are screened, and undergo extensive background checks, testing, evaluations and approval processes before being selected as a Professional Edge candidates. The candidates’ skills and abilities are determined through an extensive interview and assessment process. 

They also undergo a series of interpersonal and communication skills training exercises focusing on positivity and confidence, proper work ethic, self-motivation, professional management practices, and proper on-the-job standards and protocol.

We charge an economical fee which is based on 25% of the first year annual salary of the position we fill. Compared  to the  recruiting and placement industry standard of 30% to 33%.


Our candidates are guaranteed for not less than two years. If within the first  two years of employment, the candidate is terminated for just-cause and/or resigns from the position. The Professional Edge will repeat the process and replace that candidate with another qualified candidate of the Employer’s choice at no fee.
